Archived Views automatically archive device data at scheduled intervals per device, preserving historical records based on the selected schedule. This provides backups that can be downloaded or emailed as needed.

Core Features

  • Perpetual Storage – Archived data is stored indefinitely until manually deleted by the user.

  • Automated Email Notifications – An email is automatically sent whenever a backup is created.

  • Multiple Access Methods – Backups can be manually downloaded or emailed to users.

Enabling Archive (Add-on Activation)

1

Navigate to Add-ons

Go to Organization Settings > Add-ons.

2

Enable Archive Add-On

Find the Archive Add-On option and click Enable to activate the feature for your organization.

Enabling the Archive Add-On does not automatically activate backups. You must enable automated backups for each project separately.

Enabling and Configuring Automated Backups for a Project

1

Open Project Settings

Navigate to Project Settings and open the Archive Settings tab.

2

Enable Archive

Click Enable Archive.

3

Select Backup Schedule

A pop-up window will appear to configure the backup schedule. Choose between Daily, Weekly, or Monthly, then click Enable to confirm.

Enabling archive for a project will automatically back up all devices under that project.

Viewing Archive Settings

After enabling the archive, the Archive Settings page will display the configured schedule and the next backup time.

  • The Automated Backups Enabled label confirms activation.

  • The Backup Schedule indicates how frequently backups occur.

  • The Next Backup field shows the scheduled backup time.

You can disable the archive at any time using the Disable Archive button.

If the archive is disabled, all archived data will be deleted immediately and cannot be recovered.

Accessing Archived Data

1

Open the Archive Tab

Once backups are enabled, each device will have a new Archive tab.

2

View Archived Files

The Archive tab lists archived files, displaying:

  • File Name

  • Time Created

  • Schedule (Daily, Weekly, or Monthly)

  • File Size

3

Download or Email Backup

Archived files can be downloaded or sent via email. The email contains a download link available for 30 minutes.

Archived files remain stored indefinitely until deleted or disabled manually.

Deleting Archived Data

The Delete action is accessible directly from the list of archived files under the Archive tab. You can remove specific backups by clicking the Delete icon next to each file.

Deleting an archived file is irreversible. Ensure you have downloaded any necessary backups before proceeding.
